6 of the Best Smoke Spots for Fall in Sacramento

When was the last time you tried something new?

As we get older, we have fewer and fewer new experiences, which can make our life feel like it’s flying before our eyes.

When we go out of our way to create new experiences for ourselves, that’s when we can truly live in the moment again.

That’s why we wanted to offer some of our favorite spots around Sacramento that we think are some of the best smoke spots around so that you can try something new next time you want to blaze up.

1. The boneyard

Sacramento Historic City Cemetery – or the boneyard – is one of the most underrated and spooky best smoke spots in Sacramento for a creepy and fun experience.

Almost all Sacramento natives are privy to this old graveyard on Broadway as its haunting statues, tombstones, and foliage make for the perfect Halloween-themed hang-out spot on a chilly evening.

Light up a pre-roll with some friends and share ghost stories amongst the fog.

2. A gloomy walk along the river

The Sacramento River is home to many beautiful sights, but there’s a particular spot directly across from Old Sacramento, bordering Yolo County/West Sacramento, there’s a beautiful stroll and bike path along a murky fall-vibe-friendly river.

This spot is one of the best smoke spots for if you need to get away for a little bit and have some alone time.

If you’re in a bad mood, walking along this river when it’s raining lightly with a sparked joint and an umbrella is such a mood.

Listening to “I’m Only Happy When It Rains” by Garbage on your headphones is the cherry on top.

3. The hidden layer of Old Sacramento

If you’re looking to escape the crowds and tourists for a moment of respite and to discover lesser-known shops and other hidden gems, the lower level of Old Sacramento is one of the best smoke spots for just that.

The three entrances to this hidden level of the most historic part of Sacramento aren’t too hard to find.

Just look for stairwells that lead downwards among the usual Old Sacramento grounds, and follow your own longing for adventure.

4. The lovely park picnic

William Land Park is so beautiful, but also very expansive and a little too easy to get lost in. But in the best way possible.

The fountains, ponds, lily pads, and grassy terrain make for one of the best smoke spots for a tranquil picnic under the shade of a tree.

If you play a portable instrument, bring it and play it there for a full sensory experience.

And of course, don’t forget the weed.

5. The drive-in

Sober or high, the West Wind Drive-In is always a fun time, and also happens to be one of the best smoke spots in Sacramento.

A double-feature at the drive-in is a perfect date night (if you’ve got a hot Tinder date, click here for more date night ideas).

We recommend parking near the back couple rows to stay considerate to the other movie-goers.

After all, the clouds of smoke coming from your car may inhibit the view of the people parked behind you.

6. Unleash your inner child

Did that sativa give you a ton of energy?

The Country Club Lanes is any energetic stoner’s dream. Go bowling or play laser tag with your friends for an unforgettable time!

This may not be one of the best smoke spots since it is an indoor business.

However, smoking at home beforehand and then coming here is a totally viable option! It’s possible to also bring a vape pen and enjoy outside.

The possibilities are endless!

Before visiting any of these places, we advise you to look into the local rules and regulations when it comes to cannabis consumption. Most public places in Sacramento are not 420-friendly, so use discretion, or just get high at home, and visit any of these places afterward, paranoia-free!
